2010 Season Opera Novella is delighted to announce Carmen as our 2010 production.  It will be directed by the acclaimed, Jane McCulloch and accompanied by Bernie Lafontaine's chamber orchestra, featuring his stunning musical arrangement.   A story of jealousy and desire, Carmen tells the tale of forbidden passion between a young soldier and a fiery Gypsy girl.     Bizet's enduring classic features some of opera's most popular and beloved melodies.  It is certainly not an opera to be missed when performed by this dazzling cast.
